Yorecraft
scrollsaw files are made using a blue-tempered spring steel core and silicon
carbide abrasive, one of the hardest commercially available materials.
Silicon carbide is known for its high strength, exceptional abrasion, and
wear resistance.
Use in most scroll saws, pin vises, craft knife handles, mini hack saw handles, or by hand. Uses include sanding, smoothing and shaping of foams, hard and soft woods, plaster, greenware, soapstone, and other non-metallic materials. Files come in four grits: extra fine, fine, medium, and coarse. Each package contains two files.
